Your privacy choices

Six requests, four ways to make any of them, and none of them needs a reason, an account or a lawyer. Open to anybody, in any state.

Who is answering

Mortgage Montgomery County, PA — the operator of https://mortgagemontgomery.com and of the line on (610) 735-7774. Effective August 26, 2026. What we hold in the first place is set out in the privacy policy.

The six things you can ask for

Anybody may ask for any of the six, wherever they live, and no reason has to be given for wanting it.

Why the opt-out is open to everyone

We run a mortgage marketing and referral service. Ring the line or send the form and what you told us reaches one licensed Pennsylvania mortgage lender. That lender is paying for the marketing and technology work behind these pages. Several state privacy statutes are drawn widely enough to call an arrangement like that a sale or a share of personal information, whatever anybody would call it across a table. Arguing the definition takes longer than honoring the request, so we skip the argument and hand the opt-out to everyone, without checking a zip code first.

Four ways to ask

Proving the record is yours

To find a record we have to match it against the phone number or the email address you originally handed over, so mention that number, or write in from that address. That is the whole of the verification. There is no document to produce, no photograph of anything, and no account to log into, because we never asked you to make one.

Somebody else may act as your authorized agent, provided you have put that permission in writing. Send it along with the request and we deal with them from there, once the record has been matched the same way.

How long it takes, and what it costs

Receipt gets confirmed, usually inside the working day. Opt-out and stop-contacting requests are acted on the moment we see them, and inside ten business days at the very outside. Asking what is held, asking for a copy, a correction or a deletion: answered within 45 days, and where the law allows an extension and we need one, we tell you before the 45 days are up rather than after.

None of it costs anything. Nobody is treated differently for having asked, nothing about this site gets slower or narrower afterwards, and asking a second time is fine.

If part of it has to be refused

We say which part and why, in writing, in plain words. Reply to that and it becomes an appeal, which a person reads and answers. Should the appeal go against you too, complaints of this kind are taken by your state attorney general. Pennsylvania residents have the Bureau of Consumer Protection as well.

What a browser signal finds here

Nothing to switch off, and that is not a dodge. No advertising cookie is set on these pages and no third-party tracker runs on them, so a preference signal arrives to find the switches already down. The sharing that matters begins only once a form is sent or a call is made, and only under the consent described on the consent page. Withdraw that and the sharing ends with it.

What to do next

Pick whichever of the four routes is nearest and put the request in the first sentence — one line is plenty, and "stop calling me" is a complete request on its own. What gets collected and who receives it: the privacy policy. Where the money comes from, and what the service actually is: the terms of use, plus what the first call is like. The phone is the fastest of the four, and it is answered at four in the morning exactly as readily as at four in the afternoon.
